One of the most important provisions of the ACA is the expansion of health coverage through the Medicaid program to low-income families who were not previously eligible. This was a salvation for almost 52,000 Delawareans.

If the ACA is repealed without a simultaneous replacement, coverage for these Delaware families will be eliminated, and they will return to being vulnerable and uninsured.

The ripple effect of losing $4 billion in Delaware federal funding for Medicaid, CHIP and financial assistance for marketplace coverage will directly impact health care providers across the state.
