In Spring 2018, Brandywine Counseling and Community Services’ (BCCS) newly remodeled Milford Treatment Center is expanding program offerings to include more Prevention Education programs and services for teens and young adults. “Prevention is key when it comes to addressing the opioid crisis,” says Dr. Lynn Fahey, CEO of BCCS. “It’s critical that we offer resources and support as well as share messages with youth about the dangers of addiction.”
The BCCS Milford Treatment Center already offers behavioral health assessments, evaluations, and case management; individual, group, and family counseling; level one outpatient services for substance abuse; and psychotherapy services.
In late April, BCCS is also excited to expand treatment and support services at the Milford Treatment Center, including opening its first Opioid Treatment Program (OTP) in Kent County. The brand new Drop-In-Center will open later this spring.
