BRANDYWINE COUNSELING AND COMMUNITY SERVICE AND THE BABY BOX CO.
LAUNCH PROGRAM TO IMPROVE MATERNAL AND INFANT HEALTH

WILMINGTON, DE. JUNE 2016 – Brandywine Counseling and Community Services (BCCS) announced they will be providing Baby Boxes, filled with educational materials and physician-recommended childcare products, to expecting and new parents, to provide a safe sleep space for newborns. The Baby Boxes are produced by The Baby Box Co., the only supplier of internationally tested Baby Boxes.

“BCCS is excited to use the Baby Boxes as a means of delivering educational information on Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders (FASD) and infant sleep safety to our women,” said BCCS’ VP of Behavioral Health Services. “The Baby Boxes will provide women with items and educational materials that they would otherwise not have access to.”

The BCCS Baby Box Program is made possible through a generous donation from Unique
Image and through the BCCS Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders (FASD) Program, funded by the
Division of Substance Abuse and Mental Health (DASMH).
