Be in the SPOTLIGHT for the right reasons. “TAKING A STANCE AGAINST GUN VIOLENCE.” Delaware Teen Idol returns on August 3 at Delaware Theatre Company. This year, auditions must be submitted by video. Individuals and groups, between the ages of 13 and 18, will perform ORIGINAL raps, songs, or poetry. Topics must address gun violence. As part of their performance, contestants may also address safe sex, fatherhood involvement, anti-drug use, HIV/AIDS awareness, or crime.
Steps to submitting a video audition:
- Upload a 5 minute video to your YouTube or Vimeo account.
- Copy & past the video link then email it to [email protected]
- Attach a photo and a brief bio about yourself (no more than 4 or 5 lines) along with your name, address, and phone number.
- Video submission deadline is June 15, 2018.
- Finalists will be notified no later than the first week of July.
