Please join us for a community resource fair on the evening of October 24 focused on teenage addiction prevention. The program will be at Tower Hill School for Tower Hill parents and parents of students from other Wilmington area independent schools. In addition to the resource fair, there will be a panel discussion including Ret. Admiral James Winnefeld and his wife Mary, (see their www.SAFEProject.us web site), a PhD substance use disorder expert from the University of Delaware, a young person in recovery and a school psychologist. We hope to start a conversation with parents about how to support their teenagers in a way that conveys factual information about drugs, stress, compassion and helpful local resources (including yours).
