Brandywine Counseling & Community Services, in cooperation with the DHSS Division of Substance Abuse and Mental Health (DSAMH), is now providing Overdose & Disease Prevention Vending Machines throughout Delaware.
Overdose & Disease Prevention Vending Machines provide a convenient and accessible way for individuals to obtain critical supplies that can prevent overdose and the spread of infectious diseases.
Overdose & Disease Prevention Vending Machines are totally free and designed for anonymous use. They don’t collect any data — you’re only required to enter a ZIP code to dispense items.
Overdose & Disease Prevention Vending Machines are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
By providing these supplies through always-accessible vending machines, BCCS and DSAMH can reach individuals who may not otherwise have access to them, such as those living in rural areas, those who are experiencing housing or resource challenges, and those who are concerned about visiting a treatment center or SSP Program.
BCCS continues to be at the forefront of innovation and is proud to participate in a pilot program that increases access to critical and often life-saving resources that can help save lives and improve public health.
